So, NASA says it has lost the original footage of the moonlanding http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4791883.stm

Some could say that they have lost the evidence.

What evidence do we have to say that they actually went to the Moon and did not "fake it" in a Hollywood studio?

What evidence is there to say that they did not go to the Moon?

Anybody?

Against is the fact that there are no stars in the black sky behind them.

Then there is the flag that is 'waving' in the wind! Some say this shows that it must have been on the Earth for this to happen!

The lack of stars in the background is because of how cameras work.  The astronauts and the ground around them were brightly lit by the sun.  So, to prevent overexposure, you would have to turn down the sutter speed of your camera, decreasing the light sensitivity.  Stars are of course quite dim, so they wouldn't show up in your picture.

The flag isn't waving because of wind.  To see the exact details why, check out Phil Plait's website, http://www.badastronomy.com

This topic does not belong on this site.  I can assure you, twelve astronauts in the Apollo program stood on the moon.  There is no sane question about this.   There are, however, many legitimate questions about 20th century cosmology.  21st century cosmology should be quite different, if our progress is any indication.Apollo will be remembered as one of humanity's greatest achievements.  It is the greatest achievement of the 20th century. The big bang theory and Edwin hubble (small h please!) will become known as two of the biggest jokes of the 20th century.
