Well, it is out!

It has taken two and one half years but it can be bought from

http://www.amazon.com/Big-Bang-Blasted/dp/1419639226/sr=1-67/qid=1156935636/ref=sr_1_67/104-4235469-1678316?ie=UTF8&s=books

The book is working its way through the publishing system. Eventually it will be available from all Amazon places throughout the world, as an 'e book'  and on order through bookshops.

The first 150 pages or so, follow the historical development of the Big Bang theory explaining how it was done at each stage. The characters involved are described in depth - and hopefully in a humorous way!

I then show why the theory is wrong and explain the way it is - Tired light. This includes explanations of the redshift, CMB and supernovae time dilation.

To sum up, the last chapter reincarnates Galileo's three characters - Salviati, Sagredo and Simplicio, from his "Discussion of the two chief world systems" to compare the expanding universe theory and the tired light theory.

Cheers,

Lyndon

Excellent job with the research and with the book. Very entertaining and informative.

I'm going to do a post on my CaptainCapitalist.com blog about the book, the theory, and how the persistence of bad (but popular) theory is enabled in large part by the lack of market forces providing any consequence for being wrong. Something unique to cosmology as opposed to chemistry or physics. This situation will persist until we actually have some direct, deliberate interaction with galaxies far, far away.

Unfortunately this probably means you will not be eligible for the Nobel prize (as I learned in your book). But for what it's worth, I believe you've got it right.

Finally got my own copy! Really enjoyed. It was as entertaining as it was informative.

At long last, someone has written a book in the 'popular style' that explains why the universe is not expanding. Some of the stories about the scientists involved are very funny.

Thanks for a great read.

P.S. When is the next one out.
