What experiments can be performed to test tired light hypotheses?  Are there ways to demonstrate tired light theories in laboratories in or around Earth?  Can we demonstrate red shifts (interference line shifts and expansions) on a very small scale over short distances through space-like vacuums?   How about through laboratory plasmas?  What has been done?   Are there any ideas that could be proposed for space-borne experiment packages?

The problem wıth testıng the tıred lıght hypothesıs ın a lab ıs that the mean free path ıs about 70 mıllıon lıght year ıf I remember correctly. so one would need a bıg lab. I thınk the best way forward ıs to fınd observatıonal evıdence that the unıverse ıs not expandıng and then the Tıred lıght theory wıll really come ınto ıts own.

However. ıs beıng able to correctly predıct a value for the Hubble constant and get ıt rıght not enough ın ıtself?

Cheers.
